Disney Frozen Papercraft Kit
The Disney Frozen Papercraft kit costs £9:99 so what do you get for your money. A reasonably detailed magazine starts things off , there are a number of good projects from beginners to more ambitious and are all laid out clearly and are a good source of inspiration. The paper pack is the big let down, you get 32 A4 double sided papers, with toppers on one side and papers on the reverse, so you have to lose half of the papers when making cards. they are also on very cheap flimsy paper, and there are no die cuts, so be prepared for lots of intricate cutting out. You also get a snowflake stencil, a snow flake strip embossing folder, 14 stamps that have the main characters on plus flowers, sentiments, and snowflakes. They also include 10 tiny glittery snowflakes and a metre of flimsy thin ribbon ( they shouldn't have bothered)
So is it worth the money, it depends on how much you like Frozen I suppose. If your kids are mad on it, then you will get a few rainy afternoons out of it. If you discard the very poor quality papers, its quite a good kit, but frankly I've had better quality given away free with craft magazines.

Review : Card Folding Top Score Multi Board.
The top score board is a good robust little board allowing you to score cards in A4, A5 and 5" sizes and also to construct gate fold, concertina and tri-fold cards. One the other side you can make square boxes of almost infinite sizes. It comes with a scoring blade that takes a little practice not to cut right through the card, but you soon get the hang of it. This board can only really cope with card upto A4 which is fine for most crafters needs. I've found it invaluable for box making and there are loads of videos on you tube that can show you how to produce triangles, hexagons etc.

Review : X Cut Die Cutting Machine
I've had the X Cut for a little over two months now, and thought I'd give you an update on how were getting on together. It feels and handles like a well made robust machine which it is. The ability to change the depth of the roller to accommodate the different dies is great, as it allows you to emboss without using different plates, and it can also deal with different thickness of card stock easily, allowing you to tweak it for a perfect cut.
Like most cutting machines of this type you often find a sweet spot where it cuts perfectly and dead zones where it doesn't. This is particularly apparent when you are cutting multiple dies on the same pass, but it's far from a deal breaker.
One of its best features is its ability to fold up when not in use, into what is a very compact foot print. Something very handy if you don't have a permanent craft room.
Overall I rate this as a 9/10 - available widely at £79:99 this cutter is at the lower spectrum of similar machines, with a sturdy build and clever design
It's Monday morning and its freezing out there. Winter has come, maybe for only a few days, but still had to play hunt the ice scraper this morning!
The quest for crafty bargains goes on unabashed. I stumbled on a great site this morning cheekily named Every Crafts A Pound. Everything on the site is not a pound, but there are a lot that are and some products are available for even less.
Bargains that caught my eye were 72 sheet 6x6 paperpacks for a £1. Dove Craft Glitter Glue and 3D Pearl Effects for just a £1 each too. 23 rolls of assorted double sided tape for £10. 5x7 embossing
folders are you guessed it just a £1 too!
There is a £20 minimum spend and postage £4:95 per order, so one for a stash restock, but you can get a lot of stuff here for £20.
2 x 72 sheet paper packs £2
3 glitter glues £3
2 pearl drops £2
3 spools of twine £1
32 sheets A4 xmas paper £2
3 ink pads £3
Wooden buttons £1
3D foam tape £1
Christmas Washi tape £1
Brambly Hedge CD rom £1
50 paper flowers £1

6x6 embossing folder £1
As you can see you can get a huge stash of stuff to restock your craft box, and you'll save pounds on the basic every day items like glue, glitter, ink pads, and paper stock.
