The Christmas season is well and truly gearing up. I'm off to my first pop up shop on Saturday and then have four more booked through October and November. I've been making cards like a wild thing all month and have almost 400 for sale. Hope its better than last year as a lot of the sales I went to were very poorly attended. I'll let you know how I get on.

The new issue of Crafters Inspiration is out at the end of July. Issue 11 has an Autumnal feel. As well as the excellent magazine with 70 projects, you'll receive a leaf and vine embossing folder, three leaf dies with a matching stamp set, plus the usual double DVD. Disc one has 100 minutes of 12 messy projects from Sheena Douglass, while the second gives you sample images from the Autumn Morning, Indulgence, Halloween Fright Night, Opulence, Autumn Days, Timeless, and Luxury Christmas collections, plus loads of Digital Stamps from Sheena.
I usually pick my copy up from Ebay, as It's usually available on day of issue with no postage - in fact I've pre - ordered mine so I get it even sooner!

Picked up some great bargains as a member of the Create & Craft club.As a club member, every few weeks you get an offer of a product just for the price of P&P of £2:99. So far in July I've received a Hunkydory Seaside Card Kit, 36 A5 foiled cards, and a Tonic Christmas die and stamp set, saving £29:97 off their normal price. Not bad for a Scrimpy Crafter!
The Sunday Rant!
What is it about people at bootsales. I was up at an early one today at 6am, hordes of people there and looked to be a great day at first. I had 400 cards to sell, all handmade and priced at £1 each, 6 for £5, 9 for £7 and 14 for £10. So best price was just 73p a card. People were coming up and picking up bundles of 10 and offering me £2. How do they expect me to make a card for 20p, I was offering discounts off the bat but giving them away for that price was ridiculous.
To be fair there were some good buyers there too, who recognised the value in them and I came away with just over £120 in three hours which all in all is pretty good. Certainly much better than the recent craft fairs I've been to where attendance was extremely poor.
Has anyone out there got any ideas and tactics to maximise your sales at these events. Please comment below.

Good evening Crafters. My die collection is starting to overflow its current little box, so I've invested in a die storage case from Art Bin.
Its a robust plastic case that comes with three magnetic boards which are a little over A5 size. The case can hold up to 21 of these boards, which as far as I can see is this cases downfall. I picked this up from Hobbycraft for £7 and thought I'd buy a couple of packs of extra boards while I was there. They were out of stock, so I've searched the net for some and the best price is £6 for 3 boards. It would be just as cheap to buy another box, take the boards out and use the box for storage of something else.

Good Morning All, Well what a sporting weekend, first Lewis Hamilton storms the British GP, then Andy Murray wins Wimbledon.
If you're one of the many Hunkydory fans out there, you may have heard of their new box pop sets, on the farm and safari. On their website they are £14:99 each. Ever on the search for bargains I headed over to Katies Kabin where you can pick up both sets for the much more agreeable £17:99.
